IT WAS AWESOME!!!

In my experiences movie going crowds in Egypt are usually pretty subdued. I got funny looks when I clapped at the end of Tangled or The Princess and The Frog, but this movie was so good it had the whole crowd going. There were many moments the whole crowd was cheering, applauding, laughing. Like when the Hulk arrives on his little scooter, everyone was broke out clapping and cheering. It was so awesome.

And oh my God I have the hugest crush on Loki. His smile is so cute. :3 There may be a chibi Loki in my future because I absolutely love him and his chemistry with Thor is unbelievable. They were the reason I enjoyed the Thor movie, despite the incredibly boring part on the real world with the boring girl love interest.

I also loved the guy they got for the Hulk! I heard he's different from the Hulk movies actor? Anyway he was freaking awesome, every scene he was in, as a human not the hulk, you just had this feeling of tension that he could turn at any moment. Incredible. One of the best, most fun and exciting movies I've seen in a long time.

I also enjoyed Captain America, they really played off of his role as a trained soldier used to being in battle compared to Stark, for example, who's a genius but not a trained soldier. Every character had lots of great action moments, and they were all treated with respect. It was almost like an awesome fanfiction, Stark and Thor fighting, America bashing the Hulk, but not a fanficiton, it's canon! Woot! I was cheering and clapping at the end.

I haven't felt such enjoyment from a movie since LOTR, lol. It's that same kind of huge, epic, million big-name actors all togetherin one huge film that's somehow big enough to hold all their egos and not implode.

I saw it in 3D and that was fun but certainly not necessary.

GO LOKI!

Ahah, i saw the movie twice !
But in French... so i'll go back to the theater to see it in English ^^'

I agree with you, totally, especially what you said about Loki hihihi...
Tom Hiddleston is a really really great actor, and he was perfect in Midnight in Paris :la:

About Hulk, in the last movie, it was Edward Norton.
But the new one is great too ^^

French voices are not bad in Avengers, but usually i prefer to see original version with subtitles ^^'

Loki is pretty awesome. I kept getting this feeling I'd think he was downright adorable if he wasn't also creepy! lol. And yeah, the guy playing Dr. Banner/The Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, is a different person from the people they used for the movies, but he is by far the best. I really enjoyed his whole, "That's my secret. I'm always angry." line. It was pretty awesome. I particularly enjoyed the prodding between Stark and Rogers, how Tony kept calling him "old man" etc, but Tony was always giving all of them a hard time.
We really freaked out when Agent Coulson died. :tears: He was a pretty awesome dude.

Did you stay and watch the scene after the credits ended? That "Shawarma" restaurant bit was hilarious. I mean, there wasn't much to it, so it took everyone a minute to realize what it was and why it was funny, but it was great! It's like they were saying "Nah, it's cool, we're all just hungry superheroes. Excuse our flashy costumes, k?"

I tried to stay until the end, unfortunately theaters in Egypt have a habit of closing before the credits are done rolling so they can clean up and stuff. I saw the middle special ending but didn't get to the end, I'll be checking that one out on youtube.
