Elyssa Chibi

Inspired by 's perpetually sad dolls and 's lovely way of drawing curly hair.

The name Elyssa just popped in my head as I was sketching her. It was interesting process, drawing her, after doing the lineart I cleaned it up on MangaStudio as my hands are sometimes a bit shaky. I printed it on the thickest paper my printer could handle and started painting, then used colored pencils and then white gel pen on top. Interesting using the best of both traditional and digital mediums to get the desired result.

Also: my new scanner! Only a bit of level adjusting was required!
